Since this is the first entry of my brand spankin' new blog, I guess I owe the reader an introduction.My name is Carla but you can call me "Dear Crabby". I'm slowly but surely nearing the ripe and delicious age of thirty. I'm a textbook cancerian (with a leo moon and a libra rising, to be exact). For those of you who know your astrology, you can probably guess what this means. For those that don't, you don't want to know. :)
While I am not a professional astrologist, it's a subject that I'd like to think I know a lot about. I've been studying it since around the age of fifteen. I am always learning and observing new things about it. It never ceases to keep me interested.
I come from a line of women going as far back as my great grandmother, ladies that were/are well versed and interested in the subject too. Perhaps that's where I've gotten my passion for it. What really draws me to it is the magnitude in which everything about it just clicks in my brain. I connect with it on a gut level that tends to be very hard to convey to naysayers and nonbelievers. It just works (for me). I don't use it to judge others (okay, that's a lie) . I DO use astrology as a tool to understand people. It has really helped me tap into others and the traits they might have, both positive and negative.
Every sign is flawed. Every sign is a pain in the ass. At the same time, every sign is special and interesting in it's own way. Well, isn't that just HUMAN BEINGS in general, you might ask? Very true! However, in astrological terms, you need the anal retentive capricorns and virgos to balance out dreamy, disorganized cancers and pisceans, etc. There are signs I am generally not a big fan of (and those guys shall remain nameless) but it's important that all of them exist to make the zodiac wheel go 'round. You feeling me yet?
I guess where I'm going with this is, astrology isn't for everyone and I do realize that. I love it and I enjoy talking/writing about it with open minds and people who are interested in learning more. I dispense advice/information as best I can when it's needed. Will you always agree? Maybe not! Will you be offended? Perhaps. Do I expect everyone to be totally down with what I have to say? Of course not.
As a cancerian, I'm hyper aware of the feelings and emotions of others (but just selfish enough as to disregard your opinion.) Mwaha.
